Re: I need a script to log into guest OS desktop, similar to option in guest customization wizard

I am familiar with this, and tried to use it for another purpose within my powercli script but it proved too much to conquer.  I was trying to run a Get-WmiObject -Class Win32_NetworkAdapterConfiguration against all the systems returned by my get-VM -location $cluster query... I'm fairly new at the powercli \ powershell stuff...

anyhow, don't worry about the above, the wmi piece above doesnt' work until the guest OS is back up, so rather than figure out a way to script waiting for all the VMs to be powered back on before this piece is launched, it is just easier to run a second script once I see the VMs are all back online.

What I need is a script that will log a user account into a group of systems so the account is sitting there at the desktop of the system.  auto login etc is not required, just a single one time login without having the type user name and PW on 50 plus systems.. long story short:  scripts are to be run at customer sites, live production, and management insists that we not only verify our scripted changes using queries that execute inside the guestOS, but they also want the engineers to log into each system manually.. grrrrrr.. just in case there are few 1 offs etc etc..
